COSMETIC PROCEDURES
Whitening
White teeth are attractive, though many common daily activities can darken them. Drinking tea and coffee, eating certain foods, smoking, and some medications can contribute to the darkening or yellowing of teeth. Whitening can be done through over- the-counter products found in your drug store, but they are limited, slower, and their effects do not last as long as a professional treatment; getting your teeth whitened at a dental office is the only way to ensure fast and effective results that last.
Our office offers three types of whitening: Disposable strips, custom trays, and in-office whitening services. Each varies in type, cost, and result time.
Before starting any whitening procedure, it is recommended that teeth are cleaned and examined by a dentist. This ensures the removal of any superficial stains and plaque accumulation that could interfere with bleaching effectiveness.
