Veneers
Smiles can be improved aesthetically by the placement of veneers—thin, semi-translucent shells of porcelain that are custom made to fit the front teeth. They are permanently bonded to the teeth, giving them an improved appearance. This treatment is usually completed in one or two visits.
Veneers are most commonly used to enhance the appearance of teeth that are chipped, broken, stained, discolored, or misshapen. Also, they may be used to aesthetically improve the smile and avoid orthodontics, in such cases as crooked teeth or spaces between them.
