Cosmetic Gum Surgery
Gingivectomy is the surgical removal of gum tissue. Some gum surgeries can be performed with the use of a laser instead of a scalpel. This provides more precise removal of tissue and sometimes eliminates the need for stitches. Laser treatment also results in less bleeding, and its healing time is shorter and with less associated discomfort.
