Getting a crown for my tooth used to take a couple visits and the crown didn’t feel like my original tooth. I was delighted to discover that 20/20 Dentistry can give me a far better crown in only one visit!
This used to be a much longer process with other dentists. There would be one visit to make an impression of my tooth. The impression would then have to be sent to a lab which would make my crown. Meanwhile, I’d be given a temporary crown which I’d have to live with until my real crown was ready. A number of days later, I would return for a second visit where the temporary crown was removed and the real crown installed. It was like getting the same crown done twice, and it never really matched my original tooth.
At 20/20 Dentistry, I got better results in only one visit. They do this by using more advanced techniques that are faster and more precise. A small 3-D camera was used to create an exact digital model of my original tooth. My dentist then used this model to design my crown on a computer as I watched. The digital crown was then sent to a high-precision milling device that quickly made my crown. My dentist then fitted my crown in place and I was done. The crown is an exact replica of my original tooth and it only took one visit.
